Fabio Becce is an Associate Physician, Deputy Head of Musculoskeletal Radiology at Lausanne University Hospital, and Senior Lecturer at University of Lausanne, Switzerland. As a musculoskeletal radiologist with special interest in technological developments in computed tomography (CT), his research has focused primarily on iterative reconstruction and deep-learning-based image reconstruction techniques as well as dual-energy (DECT) or multi-energy photon-counting CT. Becce has a special interest in the rheumatologic applications of advanced CT imaging techniques, especially in crystal-related arthropathies such as gout and calcium crystal deposition diseases and has written or contributed to over 130 publications in the field.
